Preventative Dentistry

A healthy smile starts with dental visits twice a year to have a cleaning and examination. Once a year radiographs will be required to ensure that your teeth and gums are healthy. At Lenker Dental we are committed to providing you with top notch preventive care, so potential concerns can be addressed early. This allows us to provide less invasive treatment, and also saves on future costs to the patient!

Digital Xrays: Lenker Dental is committed to providing up to date, safe and effective treatment options. Digital X- rays provide a shorter exposure time therefore limiting the amount of radiation received during X-rays. X-rays are an important diagnostic tool that allows teeth and surrounding bone and tissue to be evaluated in a way that would otherwise not be possible. Without x-rays, some dental conditions will not be detected until they become a more serious problem.

Periodic Exams: At your exam appointment we are not only checking for cavities. During your examinations our team will also evaluate your TMJ and the muscles attached to your jaw. A oral cancer screening is performed for each patient at each exam to assess for changes and potential concerns early. We will also evaluate the health of your gums and discuss steps you can take at home to improve your oral health.

Prophylaxis: Do you love that fresh from the dentist clean feeling? When your teeth feel smooth and shiny. Our team makes sure everyone who leaves Lenker Dental has that fresh feeling by using a variety of ultra-sonic scalers, hand instruments, and polishers.
